About Me

I hate about me sections...

I'm Keshia. The simple, what you see part about me is that I am a mum to an awesome little boy, Charlie. I don't have an up to date fashion sense, I need a new pair of 'old faithful' shoes (lets face it, my 'old faithful' slip ons have slowly turned into old and delapitated piece's of s*&t!

The deep and meaningful stuff you ask? I'm a greens supporter. I turn things off at the powerpoint, I hate lights being left on, Tasmania should NOT build a new pulp mill and I'm an education student at the University of Tasmania. I love to read and come to think of it I am going to start a post that lists all the books that i read this year. I'd consider myself an arty farty, I love music and art, literature, drama blah blah blah. I love being a young & single mother and laughing in the face of society that stereotype me and say that I will not be a good mother, that I will be uneducated that my son will only eat crap and that I will live on or below the poverty line for the rest of my life and my son will probably be the same. I love staring back and those people that like to guess what my situation entails before they get to know me.

I have two major passions in life:

Number one is being a mother - especially to my son who is a wonderful soul

Number two is Life Long Education - which pretty much complements being a mum and everything else I do in my life.

I enjoy politics and arguing in a constructive way, so please feel free to write back to my posts with a different opinion... I love hearing what others have to say...

I'm sure that if you haven't found out something about me that you would like to you will at some strange during my postings... either wait for it, search for it or go ahead and just ask me!!
