Beginnings

Well, I'm Keshia. Today I'm sick and at home in bed instead of trugging off to Uni. A bit about me??... I'm a mum to a 22 month old awesome little man, Charlie, an education student and yes, I am a Greens Supporter, not something that I am ashamed to hide so if my political taste is not to your liking then fine but this taste is something that I have aquired over alot of 'taste testing'.

At present in life I am swammped with university assignments, I'm tired from not being able to sleep and I am counting down the days until I am able to move into my OWN house because I am currently living with my mother until a house is available... which let me tell you is not fun!

I believe that education is the number one priority in life... with education comes decreased poverty, increased social awareness and the ability to believe in ones self... actually... lets call that effective education...

I believe that Tasmania should NOT build a new pulp mill, I will go on about this at another time ;-)

I love reusable things, I have recently bought some great hemp and hessian bags of e-bay, I really do suggest that you take a look on e-bay for some awsome reusable shopping bags and environmentally friendly handbags because there are some great varieties!

One thing that you will have to get used to with me is that I can be a shocking speller, get over it or don't bother reading.

People that I look up to include a former teacher of mine Mr. David Templeton who became an inspriation to me to become a teacher.

A newbie to my list, Paul O'Halloran, who yes is invlved with the greens party but I have recently helped out at a science camp with him and his passion for education and for science really gave me a great feeling about becoming a teacher, that it is all going to be worth while.

Their is so much more that I want to write, but I need to go and take some panadol and try and get some sleep... talk soon xx Keesh
